Our Process
How Monthly Bookkeeping Works
Weekly Cadence
I do not wait until the end of the month to look at your books. Every week, I log into your QuickBooks Online account, download the latest bank and credit card transactions, and categorize everything. This means your books are never more than a few days behind, and if I spot something unusual, you hear about it right away.
Email Communication
When I have questions about a transaction (maybe a charge I cannot identify, or an expense that could fall into multiple categories), I will email you. Most weeks you will hear from me with a quick question or two. Some weeks everything is clear and you will not hear from me at all. Either way, the work is getting done.
24-Hour Response Time
I respond to all client emails within 24 hours during business days. If you have a question about a specific transaction, need a report pulled, or want to understand a number on your statements, just email me. I am here to make your life easier, not add to your to-do list.
Monthly Reports
At the end of each month, you receive your financial reports directly by email. The Growth package includes a full Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet. The Starter package includes a monthly summary of your key numbers. These reports are also what your accountant needs at tax time, so when year-end rolls around, you are already prepared.
